Receiving Hours:

Monday – Friday: 9 am – 3 pm

Saturday: 9 am – 2 pm

There may be unforeseen circumstances when the generosity of our community overwhelms our volunteer capacity in the Donations Receiving area. Please forgive us when we need to close our gates temporarily. Volunteers are doing their best to process the items you bring in. If you have some free time and would like to volunteer in receiving, please click here to find out more information about how to become a volunteer.

Please follow these guidelines to donate your household and clothing items:

  • Please bring items to our volunteers inside the receiving gate during Donation Receiving hours
  • We would appreciate not leaving items outside our gates after hours. This creates clean-up problems for our staff and volunteers, and your items are at risk of being stolen or damaged by weather or animals. We want to avoid spoilage and keep our external premises clean and neat
  • We have limited space for “out of season” items (such as Christmas decorations and winter coats) during the summer. Please bring those to us in the fall.
  • We only accept clean, freshly washed, saleable clothing and household items
  • No stains, tears, dirty, or damaged goods, please
  • If you wouldn’t want to use it, please discard it in your municipal garbage and/or recycling waste. Otherwise, it costs us disposal fees that reduce our funding capacity to the community
  • Please, no trucks loads! We currently do not have the staff to sort through large volumes of donated goods.

For more information, please call our Thrift Store (250) 245-5225, option #5. Managers will be pleased to help you.
